Joe Atkins is a co-owner at organic veg box company Riverford and he also sits on the co-owner council, where he represents the marketing department 'constituency'.
He cites authors such as James Lovelock as inspiring his interest in environmental matters, and believes food production is an example of how we can either exploit or enhance our natural surroundings. Outside of work, he can often be found wild camping on Dartmoor and cooking over an open fire.
