John is a long-standing organic farmer, who runs Borough Farm just outside the village of Holbeton, in South Devon. He grows a wide range of vegetables and cereal crops, as well as rearing organic sheep.
For the first two years, I didn’t tell anyone I was doing it! That was 30 years ago, when you were a bit ‘alternative’ if you went organic.
