Tom Levitt is a freelance journalist specialising in food and farming. He is a former editor at the Guardian newspaper and former deputy editor at The Ecologist, and has written for Huffington Post and Farmers Guardian. He has an MSc in food policy, is an advisor to the Food Climate Research Network (FCRN) at Oxford University’s Environmental Change Institute and was awarded a Nuffield Farming Scholarship in 2017. He is also researcher and communications lead on the Food, Farming and Countryside Commission.
