Tanita is a Dutch author, chef, and recent graduate in MA Anthropology of Food at SOAS. Raised in southern Spain, Tanita applies a transcultural approach to her food writing and focuses on speculations that interrogate why we eat (beyond necessity) and think the way we do about food. With a diverse background across several different foodie fields, Tanita sees herself as a bridge between academia and hospitality. Consequently, she aims to translate their theories and observations regarding our future into something tangible.
